Commission Terms of Service

General

The terms listed below must all be agreed upon to commission me.
By commissioning me, you are agreeing that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms listed.
These terms are eligible to be updated by me at any time, and the date above will be adjusted as such.

Ordering

When ordering, it is required that you fill out the appropriate commission form relative to the type of commission you are requesting.
I can refuse any commission for any reason.
Work and turnaround timer starts when the first payment is completed.

Payment

All prices are listed in USD.
Payment will be completed through PayPal.
Half of the total agreed upon price is required as a deposit before work begins. The second half will be paid after the final version is complete.
Once work has begun on the commission your deposit is no longer refundable.

Turnaround

The turnaround time for commissions is expected to be within 1 month unless stated otherwise.
Delays are possible, and will be communicated within reasonable time, with an updated turnaround estimate.
Turnaround time begins once you make the first payment for your commission.
In the case that you have not received any updates on your commission within the estimated turnaround time, and you have not been made aware of any delays, you have the right to a refund.

Revisions

You will receive regular updates of your piece at a low resolution (screenshot).
Once the sketch has been fully completed you will have the chance for up to 1 major and 3 minor revisions, any further will incur additional fees.
Once the flat colours are laid out you will receive another update and be given the chance to request 3 revisions of them.
Rendering and lighting will be discussed with you prior to the piece being finished.
Any revisions to line art or the rendered piece can be requested for a fee.

Deliverables

The deliverables provided through commissioning me vary between commission types, however it is possible for commissions to be as follows:
– Created & delivered at any canvas dimensions. If none are specified, the default canvas size being used is 5600 x 4000 pixels, or 4000 x 4000, with 600 ppi.
– Created & delivered at a size suitable for print (specify in your form that you would like this, specify what dimensions if applicable.).
– Created & delivered as an image with a transparent background ready for sticker or keychain print (specify this within your form too.).
Your final artwork can be sent to you through any means (e.g. Email). This will be discussed privately per person.

Cancellations

If you cancel before work has started, you are eligible for a full refund.
If I cancel the commission, you will receive a full refund.

Copyright & Usage

I retain copyright of the artworks created.
I may post the artwork on my social media pages or use it in work portfolios.
You can use the artwork for personal use, such as social media profile pictures, banners, etc.
You do not have the right to claim the artwork as your own.
Commercial uses can be discussed.

Agreements

By commissioning me, you are acknowledging that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms.
